Text reads: "Dream employment network event. Panel discussion. Tuesday October 24, 1-2pm AEST." In the top right corner is a photograph of a young man and woman using manual wheelchairs and a young man with down syndrome with his hand around their shoulders. They might be behind the counter in a cafe and they are all smiling politely.

Breaking down barriers – conversations to address fear, stigmas and bias of hiring young people with disability

Join a panel of young people with disability and employers discussing the impact of negative attitudes and misinformation around disability, and how to create positive change.

We want to challenge the low expectations for disabled young people in Australian workplaces and break down the barriers of stigma and stereotypes through knowledge, open communication and understanding.

This panel is for members of the DREAM Employment Network. Membership to the Network is free and you can sign up here.
