Children and Young People with Disability Australia (CYDA) has an exciting opportunity for a early-mid career project officer with lived experience of disability to apply their lived experience and project management expertise to co-design resources supporting young people with disability.
The Project Officer will work alongside the Senior Project Coordinator on the Take Charge of Change project enabling the development of co-designed resources supporting young people with disability to navigate life’s big changes.
This role provides an opportunity to work alongside 40 co-designers with diverse experiences of disability across Australia supporting them to develop the resources that they wish they’d had.
The disability community we proudly represent is one that is diverse and intersectional. People with a lived experience of disability, family connection with disability, people who are Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander, members of the LGBTIQA+ community, people who are from multicultural and/or socioeconomically disadvantaged backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply.
This is an identified position for a person with disability.
