CYDA joins the Australian Autism Alliance and other organisations in calling for the protection of people with disability’s access to assistance animals.
Together, we strongly urge NDIS Minister Amanda Rishworth, the Federal government, and state counterparts to co-design a National Assistance Animal Framework alongside the disability community, especially people who have assistance animals.
This framework must implement principles that improve national pathways for accessing and accrediting assistance animals.
