CYDA joins other Disability Representative Organisations (DRO) in endorsing this joint submission to the Department of Social Services.
Together, we present 12 key recommendations, urging the government to:
- Actively involve with people with disability and DROs in shaping how resources are prioritised, allocated, and structured to meet their needs
- Rebuild trust through transparent decision-making that incorporates lived experience
- Ensure reforms are co-designed, evidence-based, and adaptable to diverse needs, with proper resourcing to acheive meaningful outcomes
