Access at the Summit

Accessibility of the venue
At the venue, we will have:
- a sensory room
- wayfinding supports
- sensory and tactile maps
- wheelchair and scooter access with lots of space between tables
- accessible bathrooms, including a hoist machine to support
- lunch and snacks meeting a variety of dietary requirements (please let us know your dietary requirements in your EOI)
Accessibility at Summit online sessions
Our online sessions will have:
- captions
- Auslan interpreters
- regular breaks
- audio description upon request
Accessibility at Summit in-person sessions
Our in-person sessions will have:
- Auslan interpreters
- regular breaks
- roaming support workers
All sessions will be ...
- no longer than 1 hour with lots of breaks between sessions
- identified as “low”, “moderate” or “high” interaction in the program.
The Summit is a fragrance-free event
We do not have control over all aspects of the venue, such as their cleaning products or scented soap in the bathrooms, but we do ask that people attending the Summit in person do not wear scented products like perfume or cologne.

If you come to summit, we will send you one social story about the online summit and one social story the in person parts of the summit.

Access key
All participants will be sent an access key in their participant information pack before the Summit. An access key has detailed information about accessibility for an event.
We will also send you a link to our accessibility tour video of the venue before the Summit.
